though i had a very long complicated day today, I want to reflect on the few moments that matter most, time with my children & family, a breath of fresh air, & witnessing this beautiful butterfly bloom from its cocoon ~ it even stepped on my finger for a moment, and when it flew away, I felt this childlike joy, and in an instant my troubles didn’t even matter.

today I came home to a beautiful surprise, my husband had our family portraits painted for me. I felt so much joy, and I feel so very blessed! I love my family!
